Whether or not the game plan moving forward for Western Kentucky is playing a smaller lineup to get Lamonte Bearden and Darius Thompson rolling offensively, it obviously helped Josh Anderson get into his own groove.
By grouping him with three skill guards and Justin Johnson in the post in Saturday’s 83-76 win over Florida International, the freshman guard turned in his best outing since his collegiate debut nine games ago.
“I feel over time as I keep playing I’m going to get better and better,” said Anderson, who was a rebound shy of his first double-double with 13 points and nine boards in a season-high 29 minutes on Saturday.
