MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University women’s tennis team wrapped up the William & Mary Tribe Invitational with two singles victories, in Williamsburg, Virginia, earlier today.
The three-day event took place at different sites throughout the Williamsburg area, including the Millie West Tennis Facility, the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center and the Common Tennis Courts.
Eight Mountaineers saw action today, as WVU closed out the tournament with a singles match against the Maryland Terrapins, at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.
Sophomore Habiba Shaker went three-for-three on the weekend in singles play, as she bested Kristina Hovsepyan in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 6-4.
