Saturday’s contest will take place on the Potomac River, with all boats launching from the Thompson Boat Center. WVU fans in the Washington D.C. area are encouraged to watch the action on the boardwalk of the Washington Harbour in Georgetown, near the Thompson Boat Center.
“This weekend's racing serves as another key step in our team's development,” coach Jimmy King said. “Since racing two weeks ago we missed a week of water due to weather and have been mixing line-ups a bit more than we normally might due to illnesses and class schedules. Now that the race weekend is upon us, we need to make sure we don't get caught up in what we didn't do and focus on what we can and will do.
