WVU reveals new Coliseum floor design

On Thursday morning, the WVU athletic department continued the roll out of their new Nike GIG branding with the design for the Coliseum floor.

The floor that is being replaced has been in place since Bob Huggins’ second season (2008) with only minor adjustments like changing the Big East logo to the Big 12 logo, moving back the three-point line and introducing the cylinder.

The athletic department revealed the court design in a video on Twitter.

The new court design (which the university states is still conceptual and subject to change) gets rid of the gold paint on each baseline and uses font consistent with the new wordmark introduced at the Gold-Blue spring game last month.
