MORGANTOWN, W.Va. –The West Virginia University women’s tennis team travels to Akron, Ohio, to compete in the Akron Invitational from Oct. 2-4, at LaTuchie Tennis Center.
The three-day event is round-robin style, and includes competition from Cornell, University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) and host Akron. Matches are set to begin at 9 a.m. each day.
The invite opens on Friday with a singles match between West Virginia and Cornell. The Mountaineers close day one of the tournament against the Zips in doubles action.
Play resumes on Saturday, as WVU faces UMKC in singles action, followed by doubles play against Cornell in the afternoon session.
