MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Following a week off from competition, the West Virginia University women’s tennis team readies for the ITA Atlantic Regional in Lynchburg, Virginia, from Oct. 15-19. Liberty will host 34 teams in the five-day event.
The tournament begins on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 8:30 a.m. and concludes on Monday, Oct. 19, with the singles finals at 9:30 a.m. and doubles finals at 11:30 a.m. The Mountaineers will have six players compete for West Virginia in the upcoming draws.
“This weekend provides us with another opportunity to get better,” said third-year coach Miha Lisac. “Our strategy has not changed for this tournament, and we will continue to improve in singles and doubles play.
