The first high school quarterback commit of the Neal Brown era, Garrett Greene out of Lawton Chiles High School in Tallahassee, Florida, started his senior season with a 25-18 come-from-behind win against Rickards. Greene kept his composure throughout the game and in the quarter of the game, got hot at the right time.
Greene and his teammates found themselves down 18-3 with a minute left in the third quarter when Garrett was finally able to get the scoring started. He plunged into the endzone for a one-yard touchdown to cut the score to 18-10.
With 11 minutes left in the game, Greene this time found the endzone with his arm.
