Friday’s practice began with a team meeting, followed by stretching and throwing. The team then took batting practice before playing the first intrasquad game of the fall.
“I was really excited to see the energy level of our team today,” WVU coach Randy Mazey said. “We tried to divide our team up evenly for our fall schedule, and I think we accomplished that because we tied today. There were a lot of positives, a lot of really good energy, the new guys looked good and the older guys provided good leadership. I’m leaving today extremely excited about this team.
