MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The West Virginia University Sports Hall of Fame unveiled its 26th class Sunday, a group spanning Olympians, record-setters and All-Americans
The class includes Joby Foley (men’s tennis), David Johnson (rifle), Damian Owens (men’s basketball), Don Vincent (men’s basketball), Charity Wachera (women’s cross country/track & field), Grant Wiley (football) and Donnie Young (football).
Induction ceremonies will take place Saturday, Sept. 10, prior to the West Virginia-Youngstown State football game.
Joby Foley
A three-time All-American men’s tennis player during his career from 1987-90, Foley earned the honors in 1988 in doubles play with Ray Kurey, in 1989 doubles with Brad Kelly before finishing his career as a singles All-American in 1990.
