WVU grabs commitment from Fairmont Senior’s Darius Stills

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Fairmont Senior defensive lineman Darius Stills Monday night committed to West Virginia’s 2017 recruiting class after receiving an offer from the Mountaineers earlier in the day.

Heading into this past weekend, Stills also had offers from Rutgers, UMass, Kent State, Appalachian State and Liberty – but no offer from West Virginia. After initially committing to Rutgers on Saturday, the offer came from WVU on Monday and Stills quickly flipped to WVU.

Stills is listed at 6-foot-3, 280 pounds and rated as a two-star prospect by Rivals.com and a three-star recruit by ESPN.
