According to WVUsports.com, Grier started throwing as spring practice has gotten underway in Morgantown. Grier ca throw without restriction, which means his offseason plan of rehab and strength training has paid off.
Grier injured his hand against Texas last season and missed full games against Oklahoma and Utah. West Virginia simply looked puzzled without Grier leading the offense and those games were bad losses for the team.
Grier still had a remarkable season for the WVU football team as he completed 250 of 388 passes for 34 touchdowns and 3,490 yards. He appeared in 11 games and had seven wins.
