The Mountaineers are heading south to attract members of the fanbase who live a few hours away from Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown. West Virginia will hold its annual Gold-Blue Spring Game at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs.
The noon kickoff on April 23 will give fans in the southern part of the state of West Virginia a chance to see the Mountaineers up-close and personal in the offseason.
Plus, Mountaineer Field is undergoing renovations, which includes installing a new turf.
“It’s really great,” said The Greenbrier owner Jim Justice. “President Gordon Gee and I had a great conversation, and he told me he was going to bring it to us.
