WVU Football: Former Mountaineer named 2017 Man of the Year

Nearly $400,000 was raised altogether for LLS, but Anthony Becht raised $86,391 with his own networking and connections. According to Buccaneers.com, Becht went straight to the former owners that used to employ him.

“I started from the ownerships with the five NFL organizations that I played for and I worked my way down. I had family and friends and everybody helping out.”

Becht did hold an event, hosted by Casey’s Craft Bar Kitchen, with celebrity bartenders.

“We had myself, Vinny Testaverde, former Rays catcher Toby Hall and former Bucs tight end Alex Smith,” Becht said.
