WVU Completes Day One of Tennessee Invite

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. Andrew Marsh and Nate Carr posted top-five finishes as the West Virginia University swimming and diving team opened competition at the three-day Tennessee Invite in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Friday.

The morning prelims were competed in long-course meters, while the evening finals were raced in short-course yards.

Through the first day of competition, the Mountaineer men earned 161 points, while the women have 115 points. Tennessee leads the women with 396.5 points followed by Missouri (306), Virginia Tech (223) and West Virginia. For the men, Missouri leads with 353.
