For the first of likely many games, future Mountaineers Chase Harler, Brandon Knapper, Maciej Bender, and Sagaba Konate teamed up in the Scott Brown Memorial Classic in Beckley, WV on Saturday night.
In the guard dominated game, the group, playing for the Crossroads Chevrolet All Stars, fell in 2OT to Employer's Innovative Network 133-129.
The game featured several high-major recruits, including Curtis Jones (committed to Indiana) and Jethro Tshisumpa (committed to Arizona State.)
The MVP of the game was someone very familiar to WVU fans. Levi Cook, a West Virginia native and former Mountaineer commit, scored 24 points to earn the honors.
