MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The West Virginia men’s basketball team has cracked the preseason Associated Press (AP) Top 25 basketball poll.
The Mountaineers were placed at No. 15. This is the fifth time in the Huggins era that WVU has been ranked in the preseason AP top 25 basketball poll. Also, it is the fourth time a Huggins team has been cracked in the top 15 in the preseason poll.
The last time the Mountaineers were ranked in the preseason poll dates back to the 2018-19 season where they came in at number 13.
