WVU basketball: Women knock down Jayhawks

The women’s team got off to a hot start and didn’t let their foot off the gas in a 74-54 victory on the road on Wednesday. The win may just be one of the biggest for the women’s team as they went into Allen Fieldhouse and didn’t really give the homestanding Jayhawks a chance.

The WVU basketball team was led by Naomi Davenport, who scored 22 points. According to WVUsports.com, it was her sixth 20-point performance this season. Teana Muldrow, who has been the team’s most consistent player, had her best scoring output in a while with a 19-point performance.
