The Mountaineers earned an 86-51 win against the Longhorns to snap a two-game losing streak. West Virginia led by 10 points at halftime and struggled mightily in the first few minutes. But it didn’t take long for the Mountaineers to make some adjustments and rally against the Longhorns.
This was nothing but a blowout victory and something the WVU basketball team desperately needed. Jevon Carter paced the offense, which finally clicked on all cylinders in the second half, with 22 points. Sagaba Konate also had another solid all-around game as he added 10 points and 14 rebounds.
