Gansey and his staff led the Canton Charge – the Cleveland Cavaliers D-League team – to a 29-21 record and their sixth consecutive playoff berth. The team shuffled through 19 different players and 18 different starting lineups this year, but still managed to score the 8th-most points in the league (110.1 ppg).
As a college player, Gansey helped carry the ‘Eers to multiple NCAA Tournaments. His combination of passing, 3-point shooting and ability to attack the basket made him a difficult cover for opposing defenses; he also caused fits in WVU’s 1-3-1 press, too.
During his senior season, Gansey shot an incredible 65.
