On Monday at the WVU Coliseum, Carter and Miles led the WVU basketball team to an 84-74 win against Texas Tech. It was Senior Night in Morgantown with both Carter and Miles playing their final home game.
Both of these players have played all four years at West Virginia and saw early playing time as freshmen which have helped them prepare for this moment. The players received a loud ovation in pregame announcements and even more thunderous cheers when they exited together late in the second half.
Carter scored 21 points to pace the Mountaineers and Miles followed behind him with 18 points.
