In the Dream victory Sunday, the former Mountaineer poured in 15 points on a woeful 5-of-14 from the field; Holmes did connect on 2-of-3 3-pointers and three of her four free throws.
Just like her playing days in Morgantown, contributing in every facet continues to be part of Holmes’ arsenal. Along with her 15 points, Holmes tallied six rebounds (four on the offensive end), two assists, two steals and a block on her way to Player of the Game.
After a slow first quarter by the Dream (and admittedly – Holmes), they took control in the second and never looked back.
