After earning the No. 2 seed in the Winston-Salem Region, head coach Randy Mazey and the ‘Eers will face off against the No. 3 seed Maryland Terrapins on Friday, June 2, at 2 p.m.
The Terrapins finished the season 37-21 (15-9 in Big 10 play), but were an envious 20-3 at home; they also went 8-4 on neutral fields. While Maryland was 9-14 on the road, the Mountaineers were an impressive 15-14 away from Morgantown (5-2 on a neutral field).
Jackson Cramer is West Virginia’s home-run leader with ten, and is also second on the ‘Eers with 43 RBIs.
