The Mountaineer hitters cranked six homeruns, tying their game-high on the year. The timing of today’s bats was impeccable today, though.
Kyle Davis and Jimmy Galuski hit two homeruns each, combining for five RBIs altogether. Ivan Gonzalez and Cole Austin each went yard once, too.
Alek Manoah got the start and pitched 3.1 innings before ace B.J. Myers stepped in in relief. Manoah only gave up three hits, but surrendered the lone run of the afternoon for the Terrapins.
Myers was awarded the win after going 5.2 innings, surrendering only four hits and holding Maryland scoreless.
