West Virginia University today announced via email that approximately 20 percent of attendance capacity will be allowed into WVU Coliseum for the 2020-21 basketball season. This number is less than 3,000 fans per game to allow for proper COVID-19 safety protocols as the pandemic persists throughout the country.
Tickets will be grouped in distanced blocks of two or four tickets, as done in Milan Puskar Stadium for WVU football games. Most tickets available for purchase will only be in the upper level of the Coliseum. Lower-level seats will be reserved for high-end donors, University officials, and families of the players.
