With Twitter video, Holgorsen officially ditches West Virginia for Houston

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — From start to finish, Dana Holgorsen did it his way.

After five days worth of rumors, Holgorsen officially announced that he was the new head coach at the University of Houston, bringing an end to his eight-year tenure at West Virginia.

The video was done in classic Holgorsen fashion — visor, can of Red Bull and a catch phrase.

Y’all want to go win some games?

Let’s go win some games!

Within a minute of Houston posting the video, West Virginia athletic director Shane Lyons posted an update on West Virginia’s coaching search.
