What I Think After Two Defensive Touchdowns Save West Virginia

The West Virginia Mountaineers played at Nippert Stadium for the first time since 2011 and the Mountaineers, much like the 2011 version, walked out of Nippert victorious. Yesterday’s game had all the makings of a let-down: backup quarterback with actual game tape on him, road game, beleaguered defense, and an embattled head coach. What happened was everything that you thought might happen and yet, because of two defensive touchdowns and short-field aided by a defensive turnover, the Mountaineers were victorious. Lets talk about it.
