The West Virginia Mountaineers have been dealt another blow this evening, as sophomore wide receiver Reggie Roberson announced via Twitter that he’ll be transferring out of the program.
Roberson saw action in 11 games as a true freshman in 2017, with his most significant playing time coming in the first three games of the season. Roberson caught 6 passes for 30 yards and a touchdown.
Roberson has been granted his release by the Mountaineer teams, and will be eligible to transfer to any program outside the Big 12 conference or teams on West Virginia’s schedule in the coming years.
