MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia wide receiver Dillon Spalding has entered the NCAA transfer portal, a source with access to the portal confirmed to MetroNews on Thursday evening.
Spalding’s action was first reported by 247 Sports.
Spalding is a redshirt freshman who sat out last season with an injury. He was involved in the offense this spring, snagging a touchdown pass from Trey Lowe on the final play of the spring game. Spalding was in a tier of outside receivers vying to be on West Virginia’s second string this fall.
