The West Virginia Mountaineers take their first road trip this week. They will travel to Norman, Oklahoma to take on the Oklahoma Sooners. Last season after the battle in Morgantown many knew this game would come again, many could even venture to predict the score but could they predict two former walk-on quarterbacks would be at center stage for the first Big 12 top 25 bout of the year?
Quarterback Skyler Howard of West Virginia University, and Baker Mayfield of the University of Oklahoma were both undersized, under-recruited, and perhaps the worst of all under appreciated.
