The Big 12 Conference announced this morning that the West Virginia-Iowa State football game on Saturday, Oct. 12, in Morgantown, will start at 4 p.m. ET, televised on ESPN. This makes back-to-back weeks the Mountaineers will feature on an ESPN network in the afternoon.
Last year, WVU went to Ames with an undefeated record. The Cyclones sent the Mountaineers home with a 30-14 loss. This year, the teams come into the game more evenly balanced. In the last meeting in Morgantown (2017), WVU sneaked out a 20-16 win over the Cyclones.
The Cyclones (2-2) will host TCU this Saturday at noon.
