West Virginia-Texas game to be nationally televised

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia’s upcoming game with Texas will be televised to a national audience. The Big 12 announced that Saturday’s game between the Longhorns and Mountaineers will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on ABC. The announcement was made shortly after midnight on Sunday.

For those fans up in arms about finding WVU’s game against Kansas on the internet, the ability to watch the game on old-fashioned, over-the-air television will no doubt come as a relief — particularly since the game is already sold out.

The Texas game is West Virginia’s homecoming, as well as the annual “Stripe the Stadium” game.
