West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen said he expects his team to look "completely different" in late August than it appeared Saturday during the Gold-Blue Game at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The final stages of rehab limited several key Mountaineers to the sideline, including safety Dravon Askew-Henry, offensive tackle Yodny Cajuste and wide receiver Ka'Raun White.
One offensive duo, though, appeared in midseason form as quarterback Will Grier connected with receiver David Sills six times for 98 yards. Sills caught five of Grier's first seven passes, punctuating a spring that marked his return to Morgantown after one season as a junior-college quarterback in California.
