In the final regular season home game of the season, West Virginia coasted to a 2-0 win over arch-rival Pitt on Tuesday.

The game was dominated by masterful pitching by the Mountaineers (31-20).

For the first 5 23 innings, Isaiah Kearns was on the mound. He allowed only three hits in that span and struck out seven, which ties his career-high.

With two outs in the sixth inning and a Panther on second base, senior pitcher Jackson Sigman took the field at Mon County Ballpark for the last time and went on to retire the next ten batters to clinch his fourth win of the season.
