MORGANTOWN, W.Va. –After a two week hiatus, the West Virginia University rowing team returns to the water this week to race against Duquesne and Mercyhurst College on Saturday, April 23, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Competition from the Allegheny River is set to begin at 8 a.m. The three teams will compete in first varsity eight, second varsity eight and third varsity eight races as well as a first varsity four and a second varsity four race.
“Each time we line up, we are looking for all of our crews to have more complete races than the last time out,” said coach Jimmy King.
