MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Jack Allison didn’t waste any time putting off the inevitable.
With Jarret Doege moving up the depth chart for West Virginia’s final four games, Allison placed his name in the NCAA transfer portal Tuesday. He graduates from WVU in December. Coach Neal Brown said Allison will spend the next month focusing on an internship before his graduation.
Allison filled in for an injured Austin Kendall for most of the Iowa State game. He finished the season 19 of 26 for 144 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. His lone career start was in last year’s Camping World Bowl against Syracuse.
