MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Neal Brown will go to bed Sunday night hoping his Kentucky connection can work some magic for West Virginia on Monday.
Four-star quarterback prospect Beau Allen will be making his college choice, and West Virginia is among his four finalists. The others are Kentucky, Washington State and Duke.
The hometown Wildcats are seen as the favorites. Allen is from Lexington, Ky., and all the other schools are vying to pry him away for college. Brown has had some early success recruiting in his home state, securing his first Class of 2020 commitment from wide receiver Reese Smith.
