MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — In terms of both talent and stature, senior offensive lineman Josh Sills is West Virginia’s biggest defection into the NCAA transfer portal.
Sills entered the portal on Tuesday evening, as first reported by the SEC Network’s Cole Cubelic.
Sills missed most of this season, electing to undergo season-ending shoulder surgery after West Virginia’s Week 2 loss at Missouri. He has started at left guard, right guard and center in his three years as a Mountaineer.
Big 12 coaches named Sills a second team all-conference player as a sophomore in 2018. He was a preseason all-Big 12 pick heading into this year.
