Adams came to WVU after being a part of the Miami Dolphins staff for a few years. He landed in Miami in 2012 after serving some Division I schools for three years.

A 36-year old who was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2003 after his college days at Cincinnati, Adams has a full life ahead of him, on and off the football field. However, things slowed down a bit over the weekend for Adams and his family.

His son, Danny ‘Sire’ Adams passed away from cancer. He was only 15. Danny was diagnosed two years ago and the cancer greatly affected his motor skills.
