West Virginia Mountaineer Adam Pankey Charged With DUI After Wrecking Car In Morgantown

West Virginia Mountaineers starting left guard Adam Pankey was charged with a DUI on Saturday in Morgantown after he wrecked his car on Stewart Street, according to Joey LoMonaco of the Dominion Post.

Mike Casazza of the Charleston Gazette-Mail reports that police found Pankey’s car upside down off the road with Pankey still inside. The Mountaineers’ offensive lineman was found inside the car with minor injuries, the report says, and was taken into custody without going to a hospital for treatment.

“I have been made aware of the situation and am gathering the facts at this time,” WVU coach Dana Holgorsen said in a statement.
