NORMAN, Okla. — One way or the other, West Virginia has a chance to go down in history on Saturday.
The 2019 Mountaineers (3-3, 1-2 Big 12) could end up legends in the best-case scenario. West Virginia comes to Oklahoma a 33.5-point underdog, and would become just the ninth team in the past 25 years to win a game when facing such a large point spread.
On the other end of the spectrum, there’s also a decent chance this year’s Mountaineers will end up remembered because they’re listed on the back of one of those t-shirts that lists the national champion’s schedule.
