As talk swirls around West Virginia's relatively unproven group of wide receivers, one that will have to replace standouts Kevin White and Mario Alford, the Mountaineers' future at the position just received a major boost.
Four-star wide receiver/athlete Steven Smothers has committed to West Virginia, the Class of 2016 member from Reisterstown, Md., tweeted Wednesday.
