MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Neal Brown is hiring from one of the best as he comes closer to filling out his West Virginia coaching staff. The Mountaineers are adding Xavier Dye, a young coach from Dabo Swinney’s Clemson staff, as their new receivers coach.
Dye spent the last two seasons as a graduate assistant at Clemson, where he also played wide receiver from 2007-10. The Tigers won the national championship this season.
WVU has not announced Dye’s hire, but he changed his Twitter profile to reflect his new position. The Columbia (S.C.) State confirmed his hire.
