MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Blake Seiler, who spent the past decade as a Kansas State defensive assistant, has agreed to become West Virginia’s linebackers coach, according to multiple reports.
With the addition, new Mountaineers head coach Neal Brown has two full-time staff vacancies to fill.
Seiler, 34, has ties to West Virginia defensive coordinator Vic Koenning, with both having coached at K-State in 2009.
Seiler earned $400,000 last year as the Wildcats’ defensive coordinator. After Bill Snyder’s retirement, Seiler was retained by new K-State head coach Chris Klieman but was transitioning back to being a position coach.
