When Kevin White was selected No. 7 overall by the Chicago Bears in the 2015 NFL Draft, fans of the West Virginia Mountaineers realized that one of their own would soon be able to show the nation what an
elite player could do.
After seven months, Mountaineer Nation can breathe a little easier, knowing they’ll soon get that chance.
White was a first-round pick by the Bears back in May, but soon was sidelined with a stress fracture in his left tibia. The ailment kept him out of Chicago’s line up, so far, this season and the Bears have tallied a 4-6 record without White.
