The West Virginia golf team is sitting in fifth place after day one of the Louisville regional of the NCAA Tournament. Sophomore Logan Perkins led the way for the Mountaineers on Monday, finishing T-11 individually at -1 (70).

The top five teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Tournament, so the Mountaineers are in a good position to advance if they can at least hold their position on the leaderboard.
