Arizona State. 2015. The end of the bowl season saw Skyler Howard, dressed in a blue helmet, white jersey and blue pants throw for a Cactus Bowl record 532 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Mountaineers beat the Todd Graham-led Sun Devils 43-42 to complete an 8-win season for Dana Holgorsen. The Mountaineers will once again don the Blue/White/Blue uniforms for their 2016 Russell Athletic Bowl tilt against the Miami Hurricanes.
This uniform combination will counter Miami’s white tops, hunter orange jerseys and white pants. They’ll continue to wear the worst flavor of Starburst on their cleats (orange).
