TCU was able to remain a pesky arms length away from WVU most of the game, but the Mountaineers were able to secure the win in Kansas City on Thursday night, taking down the Horned Frogs 86 - 66.
The Mountaineers shot the ball well, but played sloppy overall, turning the ball over 17 times. Combine that sloppiness with the TCU free throw shooting and the Frogs were in the game until around the 7 minute mark in the second half when cold shooting began to take its toll. WVU led by 10 at that point but then was able to stretch it out for the final margin.
