Neal Brown has been head coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers for just over 24 hours now, but the former Troy Trojans head coach has spent the largest part of that time back in Troy, Alabama telling saying goodbye to athletic department staff, his players and the Trojan fans.
Brown had a meeting last night with his players and staff, and appeared at halftime of the Trojan’s basketball game against the Appalachian St. Mountaineers to address the fans in attendance.
(If anyone was wondering, the Trojans beat the Mountaineers, 89-85)
Brown will travel to the AFCA Coaches Convention in San Antonio this week, and is scheduled to speak on Tuesday.
