Continuing the strong tradition of West Virginia women’s soccer, Bianca St. Georges and Grace Cutler were selected in the 2019 NWSL College Draft last night in Chicago.
St. Georges was drafted 20th overall by the hosting Chicago Red Stars, in round three. In 2018, she scored seven goals. The defender is is a native of St. Felix de Valois, Quebec, Canada, and captained the team in both 2017 and 2018. St. Georges played for the Canadian U-20 women’s national team at the 2016 U-20 Women’s World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
Cutler was the 22nd overall pick, going to the Houston Dash in the third round.
