MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women’s track and field team finished up competition at the 2015 NCAA East Region Preliminaries at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday.
“It has been a very successful NCAA prelims for us,” said coach Sean Cleary. “This is the first trip to this meet for all seven and I am very proud of their efforts. Six of seven return home having performed far better than their initial ranking, and six of the seven are freshman. We are optimistic that our program will be led by the depth that this group provides.
